Innova Starter Strip Machine

The innova STARTER STRIP MACHINE is truly the greatest innovation on the market to eliminate the messy time consuming task of backwrapping and finishing edges around doors, windows etc. Starter strips are 8 ft lengths of foam with one face undercut approx 1/8” deep x 4” wide the entire length.The full width of the starter strip is usually 6” – 8”. Mesh and base coat is applied to the undercut surface and one edge. The STARTER STRIP MACHINE applies the base coat only, not the mesh. After drying, the starter strip is placed around openings with the 4” coated side facing inwards and the finished edge outward, thus saving a tremenous amount of time and providing a proper moisture barrier and a clean finished edge. THE innova STARTER STRIP MACHINE can be set up on site and optional accessories such as input and output tables and a drive motor can be purchased. With the above basic model, the side fences are adjusted to the width of the foam, the hopper and knife edge are raised to the height of the core. The hold down wheels adjust to hold the foam cores against a stainless steel surface. The hand crank feeds the cores thru the coating chamber on after another. With a smooth, continuous rotation of the crank, quality starter strips and even mouldings can be produced with the moulding attachment. Starter strips up to 8” wide to 4” high can fit between the guide fences. Wider strips can be produced by removing the outboard fence. Decorative mouldings up to 8” wide x 6” high can be produced by purchasing the optional moulding hopper and templates. Contact us for Custom Quote.
